Issued since 2003 INDECS is devoted to the field emerging rapidly theoretically and empirically research in scientific disciplines: natural sciences, humanities, social scinces as - since 2005, vol. 3, no 2 - legal science, criminology and administrative and public government. It publishes original, peer-reviewed, scientific contributions prepared as reviews, regular and conference papers and brief and preliminary reports. The articles included generally cover areas such as concept development and modelling, as well as others that contribute to a quantification of impressions and henceforth to a deepening of understanding of human societies and other complex systems, including aspects of our environment.

Seit 2003 herausgegebene INDECS widmet sich dem Bereich der sich rasch entwickelnden theoretischen und empirischen Forschung in wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen: Naturwissenschaften, Geisteswissenschaften, Sozialwissenschaften wie (seit 2005, Bd. 3, Heft 2) Rechtswissenschaften, Kriminologie sowie Verwaltungs- und öffentliche Verwaltung. Es veröffentlicht von Experten begutachtete Originalbeiträge, die als Rezensionen, Artikel und Konferenzbeiträge sowie kurze und vorläufige Berichte aufbereitet sind. Die enthaltenen Artikel decken im Allgemeinen Bereiche wie Konzeptentwicklung und Modellierung ab, aber auch andere, die zu einer Quantifizierung von Eindrücken und damit zu einer Vertiefung des Verständnisses menschlicher Gesellschaften und anderer komplexer Systeme, einschließlich Aspekten unserer Umwelt, beitragen.

Wydawane od 2003 roku czasopismo INDECS poświęcone jest dynamicznie rozwijającej się dziedzinie badań teoretycznych i empirycznych w dyscyplinach nauk przyrodniczych, humanistycznych i nauk społecznych, takich jak (od 2005, t. 3, nr 2) nauki prawne, kryminologia oraz nauki o administracji i zarządzaniu publicznym. Dwumiesięcznik publikuje oryginalne, recenzowane prace naukowe w formie recenzji, artykułów i wystąpień pokonferencyjnych oraz krótkich i wstępnych raportów. Publikowane artykuły obejmują takie obszary, jak rozwój koncepcji i modelowanie, a także inne, które przyczyniają się do ilościowego określenia wrażeń, a tym samym do pogłębienia zrozumienia społeczeństw.
