Archive platform of „The Polish Journal of Criminology” (ISSN 2543-4659; e-ISSN 2451-4098) published in 2015-2018 by the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk in cooperation with IndexCopernicus.
It aim and scope was integrate the representatives of various sciences around the study of Criminology. Periodical was a forum for scientific discourse and an exchange of ideas among Polish and foreign centres; use to compare theoretical and practical achievements in criminology; promote the achievements of the Polish theoretical and practical thought in criminology and criminal law on an international scale; and integrate the scientific community and representatives of criminal justice practitioners in Poland and abroad.
Editorial Board of „The Polish Journal of Criminology” considered criminology to be a metascience, encompassing various research currents: deviant behavior, causes of crime, their phenomenology, and the methods of fighting pathological phenomena, victimology. The scientific journal published the results of empirical studies in the area of forensics and forensic medicine, philosophy and sociology of punishment and crime prevention, discussed especially in the context of comparative law, including the existing achievements and the current work of Pan-European and global organizations and institutions, also the methods of handling problems related to criminal behaviour; restorative justice, the social context of crime, preventing crime in local communities, in political crime and penological issues too. Another important area of interest the journal was the psychology of personality, deviance and forensic psychiatry, and legal doctrine topics, especially criminal law – substantive, procedural and executory.

Archivplattform der „The Polish Journal of Criminology“ (ISSN 2543-4659; e-ISSN 2451-4098), veröffentlicht 2015–2018 von der Fakultät für Recht und Verwaltung der Universität Danzig in Zusammenarbeit mit IndexCopernicus.
Ziel und Umfang war es, die Vertreter verschiedener Wissenschaften rund um das Studium der Kriminologie einzubinden. Die Zeitschrift war ein Forum für den wissenschaftlichen Diskurs und den Gedankenaustausch zwischen polnischen und ausländischen Zentren. Verwendung zum Vergleich theoretischer und praktischer Leistungen in der Kriminologie; Förderung der Errungenschaften des polnischen theoretischen und praktischen Denkens in der Kriminologie und im Strafrecht auf internationaler Ebene; und Integration der wissenschaftlichen Gemeinschaft und Vertreter von Strafjustizpraktikern in Polen und im Ausland.
„The Polish Journal of Criminology“ ist eine Zeitschrift, die Kriminologie als eine Metawissenschaft betrachtet, die verschiedene Forschungsrichtungen umfasst: abweichendes Verhalten, Ursachen von Kriminalität, ihre Phänomenologie und Methoden zur Bekämpfung pathologischer Phänomene, Viktimologie. Darüber hinaus wurden die Ergebnisse empirischer Studien auf dem Gebiet der Forensik und forensischen Medizin, der Philosophie und Soziologie der Strafe und der Kriminalprävention veröffentlicht, die insbesondere im Kontext der Rechtsvergleichung diskutiert wurden, einschließlich der bestehenden Errungenschaften und der aktuellen Arbeit paneuropäischer und globaler Organisationen und Institutionen sowie der Methoden zur Behandlung von Problemen im Zusammenhang mit kriminellem Verhalten; restaurative Justiz, der soziale Kontext der Kriminalität, Kriminalitätsprävention in lokalen Gemeinschaften, auch bei politischer Kriminalität und strafrechtlichen Fragen. Ein weiteres wichtiges Interessengebiet der Zeitschrift war die Psychologie der Persönlichkeit, Devianz und forensische Psychiatrie sowie Themen der Rechtsdoktrin, insbesondere des Strafrechts – materielles, verfahrensrechtliches und vollstreckendes Recht.
Alle veröffentlichten Artikel sind in PDF- und nativen (HTML)-Versionen mit vollständigen DublineCore-Metadaten einschließlich Zusammenfassung, Schlüsselwörtern und Referenzen (mit GoogleScholar-Links) verfügbar. Die Artikel wurden anhand von Schlüsselwörtern und Autor mit anderen in der Zeitschrift veröffentlichten Artikeln in Verbindung gebracht und waren auf der Plattform der Zeitschrift verfügbar.

Czasopismo miało na celu integrację przedstawicieli różnych nauk wokół nauki kryminologii. Stanowiło forum dyskursu naukowego i wymiany myśli między ośrodkami polskimi i zagranicznymi, korzystającym z dorobku teoretycznego i praktycznego kryminologii. Służyło promowaniu dorobku polskiej myśli teoretycznej i praktycznej w zakresie kryminologii i prawa karnego na skalę międzynarodową;
i integracji środowiska naukowego oraz przedstawicieli wymiaru sprawiedliwości w sprawach karnych w Polsce i za granicą.
Redakcja czasopisma „The Polish Journal of Criminology” jest periodykiem uznającym kryminologię za metanaukę, obejmującą różne nurty badawcze: zachowania dewiacyjne, przyczyny przestępstw, ich fenomenologię oraz metody zwalczania zjawisk patologicznych, wiktymologię. Na łamach czasopisma publikowano wyniki badań empirycznych z zakresu kryminalistyki i medycyny sądowej, filozofii i socjologii kary i prewencji kryminalnej, omówione zwłaszcza w kontekście prawa porównawczego, w tym dorobku i bieżącej działalności organizacji i instytucji paneuropejskich i światowych. W zakresie tematycznym periodyku znajdowały się także sposoby rozwiązywania problemów związanych z zachowaniami przestępczymi; sprawiedliwość naprawcza, społeczny kontekst przestępczości, zapobieganie przestępczości w społecznościach lokalnych, w przestępczości politycznej, a także zagadnienia penologiczne. Innym ważnym obszarem zainteresowań czasopisma była psychologia osobowości, psychiatria dewiacyjna i sądowa oraz tematyka doktryny prawa, zwłaszcza prawa karnego – materialnego, procesowego i wykonawczego.
