"The Croatian Yearbook of European Law and Policy" is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal specialising in EU law and policy. It seeks to advance academic scholarship and postgraduate education, develop European and regional academic networking, create professional opportunities for law academics, and promote academic reflection on European law and European values. The specific angle of the Yearbook aims to be critical, realistic and multidisciplinary. The editors recognise that significant answers to legal questions can be found only in a wider political, economic and social context.

„The Croatian Yearbook of European Law and Policy“ ist eine frei zugängliche, von Experten begutachtete Zeitschrift, die sich auf EU-Recht und -Politik spezialisiert. Ziel ist es, akademische Wissenschaft und postgraduale Ausbildung zu fördern, europäische und regionale akademische Netzwerke zu entwickeln, berufliche Möglichkeiten für Rechtswissenschaftler zu schaffen und die akademische Reflexion über europäisches Recht und europäische Werte zu fördern. Der spezifische Ansatz des Jahrbuchs soll kritisch, realistisch und multidisziplinär sein. Die Herausgeber sind sich bewusst, dass sinnvolle Antworten auf rechtliche Fragen nur in einem größeren politischen, wirtschaftlichen und gesellschaftlichen Kontext zu finden sind.

"The Croatian Yearbook of European Law and Policy" jest ogólnodostępnym, recenzowanym czasopismem specjalizującym się w prawie i polityce UE. Ma na celu ułatwienie upowszechniania wyników badań naukowych akademików i uczestników kształcenia podyplomowego, a także rozwój europejskich i regionalnych sieci akademickich, tworzenie możliwości zawodowych dla naukowców zajmujących się prawem oraz promowanie refleksji akademickiej na temat prawa europejskiego i wartości europejskich.
Rocznik ma stanowić krytyczne forum realistycznego i multidyscyplinarnego ujęcia problematyki badawczej skoncentrowanej wokół integracji europejskiej i Unii Europejskiej. Redaktorzy zdają sobie sprawę, że istotne odpowiedzi na pytania prawne można znaleźć jedynie w szerszym kontekście politycznym, gospodarczym i społecznym.
