"Europske studije" / "European Studies" was a scientific journal with the fundamental objective of publishing research papers and other contributions in the field of European integration studies. Due to the nature of research in the area of European studies, the journal was of an interdisciplinary character, open to various approaches and research methods that contribute to the understanding of the process of European interaction, the political and legal system of the European Union, the influence by Member States on policies of the European Union, as well as the shaping of the values of European integration during its historical development. As a Croatian scientific journal, "Europske studije" / "European Studies" devoted particular attention to the Europeanization of Croatian society and policies, and the relationship of the integration processes of Croatia with those of other Member States of the European Union. The journal afforded particular importance to research that show the comparative relations within the European Union, again with emphasis on the Croatian regional Central European and Mediterranean context.

„Europske studije” / „European Studies” war eine wissenschaftliche Zeitschrift mit dem grundlegenden Ziel, Forschungsarbeiten und andere Beiträge im Bereich der europäischen Integrationsstudien zu veröffentlichen. Aufgrund der Art der Forschung im Bereich der Europastudien hatte die Zeitschrift einen interdisziplinären Charakter und war offen für verschiedene Ansätze und Forschungsmethoden, die zum Verständnis des Prozesses der europäischen Interaktion, des politischen und rechtlichen Systems der Europäischen Union beitragen. der Einfluss der Mitgliedstaaten auf die Politik der Europäischen Union sowie die Gestaltung der Werte der europäischen Integration im Laufe ihrer historischen Entwicklung. Als kroatische wissenschaftliche Zeitschrift widmete „Europske studije” / „European Studies” besondere Aufmerksamkeit der Europäisierung der kroatischen Gesellschaft und Politik sowie dem Verhältnis der Integrationsprozesse Kroatiens zu denen anderer Mitgliedstaaten der Europäischen Union. Die Zeitschrift legte besonderen Wert auf Forschung, die die vergleichenden Beziehungen innerhalb der Europäischen Union aufzeigt, wiederum mit Schwerpunkt auf dem kroatischen regionalen mitteleuropäischen und mediterranen Kontext.
„Europske studije” / „European Studies” było ukazującym się w latach 2015-2017 recenzowanym czasopismem naukowym, którego zasadniczym celem było publikowanie prac naukowych i innych publikacji z zakresu studiów nad integracją europejską. Ze względu na charakter badań w obszarze europeistyki, czasopismo miało charakter interdyscyplinarny, otwarty na różne podejścia i metody badawcze, które przyczyniają się do zrozumienia procesu interakcji europejskich, systemu polityczno-prawnego Unii Europejskiej Unii Europejskiej, wpływ Państw Członkowskich na polityki Unii Europejskiej, a także kształtowanie wartości integracji europejskiej w okresie jej historycznego rozwoju. Jako chorwackie czasopismo naukowe „Europske studije” / „European Studies” poświęciło szczególną uwagę europeizacji chorwackiego społeczeństwa i polityki oraz powiązaniom procesów integracyjnych Chorwacji z procesami innych państw członkowskich Unii Europejskiej. Czasopismo przywiązywało szczególną wagę do badań ukazujących relacje porównawcze w Unii Europejskiej, ponownie kładąc nacisk na chorwacki regionalny kontekst środkowoeuropejski i śródziemnomorski.
