"Policija i sigurnost" publishes peer-reviewed scientific and professional works in Croatian and English. in the field of police work, police and police science, criminology, criminal material, procedural and executive law, international public and criminal law, national security, criminology, penology, victimology, forensic medicine, psychology and forensic psychiatry and related fields (police history, anthropology judicial, crime statistics, etc.). The journal also publishes articles on police work and judicial practice, views and opinions, reviews and student works.
A collection of journal issues from volume 16 (2007) is available on the HRČAK platform along with structured metadata: information about the author and his scientific affiliation, ORCID identifier and contact details (if provided in the article) and an abstract, title variant and keywords in Croatian and English (only for scientific articles), page range, permanent link and DOI identifier (since 2023) with the prefix 10.59245/ps.

"Policija i sigurnost" publikuje recenzowane prace naukowe i fachowe w języku chorwackim i angielskim. z zakresu pracy policji, nauk policyjnych i policyjnych, kryminologii, materiału karnego, prawa procesowego i wykonawczego, międzynarodowego prawa publicznego i karnego, bezpieczeństwa narodowego, kryminologii, penologii, wiktymologii , medycyny sądowej, psychologii i psychiatrii sądowej oraz dziedzin pokrewnych (historia policji, antropologia sądowa, statystyka kryminalna itp.). Na łamach czasopisma publikowane są także artykuły poświęcone praktyce pracy policji i praktyce sądowej, poglądy i opinie, recenzje oraz prace studenckie.
